I gave a presentation on my encaustic experiment, entitled "Encaustic Painting on Greek Stone Sculpture," at the Greek Art and Archeology panel of the CAMWS Annual Meeting yesterday.  Thank you very much to all the panelists and attendees, especially for the very lively question-and-answer session.  It was very stimulating, and I will definitely consider the issues raised as I proceed with this experiment.  For one thing, it looks like Mr. Panther-skin is doomed to some time outdoors in the Florida sunshine for the final stage of this experiment!
